Champlain marina/restaurant changes owners

WHITEHALL -- The Finch & Chubb restaurant and the Lock 12 Marina apparently will be open for business this summer.

The businesses closed in late 2011 when owners Ray and Linda Faville signed over the property to avoid foreclosure.

Albany area partners Bill Brina and Bumper Wagoner have purchased the complex, which includes an eight-room inn at 82 North William Street at the base of Lake Champlain, for $100,000 at auction from New York REO Properties, a Rhode Island holding company.
